The Call for Proposals for the 43rd Annual First Alaskans Statewide Elders & Youth Conference is now open, and we are looking for you!

We are seeking Language Circle Hosts, Artists, Cultural Bearers, Community Organizations, and Leaders to share their knowledge with Elders and youth from across Alaska. Whether you carry language, story, practice, or skill, there is a place for you at this gathering.

This Year's Language of the Year: Denaakk'e / Koyukon

43rd Annual Statewide Elders & Youth Conference
October 18–21, 2026
Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center · Anchorage, Alaska

We welcome proposals for workshops, lessons, and performances that inspire cultural pride, strengthen intergenerational connection, and honor Alaska Native youth and Elders.

Proposal Deadline: July 17, 2026
Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis. Earlier submissions are encouraged.
