First Alaskans is proud to announce this year’s 41st Annual Statewide Elders & Youth Conference that will begin on Sunday, October 13 and close out on Wednesday, October 16. It will take place in-person in Anchorage at the Dena'ina Center in a culturally-enriched way to celebrate our ability to be in person once again. We will be celebrating our conference this year uplifting the Gwich'in language. This year's conference theme is: "Dinjii Zhuh K’yàa Zhit Gwarandaii,” which beautifully translates to “Our Land Our Food - We are Living Our Indigenous Ways of Life.”
