Resource Guide for Communities Impacted by Typhoon Halong

Our team at FAI sends our heartfelt condolences to the families and communities impacted by Typhoon Halong. In the last few weeks, our communities and local organizations around Alaska have been responding to the effects and wanted to provide a central hub of resources in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Bethel.  

FAI will continue to monitor what local organizations are doing and provide weekly updates to this resource guide.

Online application to help with offsetting the cost of damages or emergency expenses for those from qualifying Regional Educational Attendance Areas (REAA) and boroughs.

Typhoon Halong Basic Flood-Damaged Home Salvage Repair:

Application to get “muck-out” of homes to reduce further damage and prepare for future repairs done by the homeowner. This is a no-cost service through Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP).
